Chocolate Cherry Energy Balls

Chocolate and cherries are a match in heaven, and these energy balls are a testament to this perfect marriage of flavors! Energy balls make a great snack packed with nutrients to fuel your exercise. While cherries are currently in season, take advantage of this opportunity and give this recipe a try!

Ingredients
  • 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted
  • 3/4 cup dates, pitted
  • 1/2 cup raw almonds
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • pinch of salt
Instructions
  1. In a food processor, process the almonds until finely chopped (with bigger pieces left for texture).

  2. Add the remaining ingredients in the food processor and process until broken down into a sticky mix.

  3. Roll dough into small balls. Place in the fridge for 1 hour to let them harden and set.

Recipe Notes

These energy balls can keep in the fridge for up to 1 week or stored in the freezer for up to 3 months.
